Panasonic’s Best & Fastest Shavers Are Here to Give You the Smoothest Shave with Uncompromising Skin Comfort

Panasonic has launched its best and fastest electric shavers to date, the ES-LV6Q & ES-LV9Q, offering Australian men the ultimate precision, flexibility and comfort while shaving. Featuring a 5-blade cutting system, new 5-direction shaver head and optimised shaving sensor to detect beard density, these impressive shavers are the perfect grooming companions.

Backed by a legacy of quality and a tradition of innovation, both ES-LV6Q & ES-LV9Q are crafted with Japanese Blade Technology – meaning tough, sharp and long-lasting blades.

As the fastest electric shavers Panasonic has ever created, based on 70,000 cross cutting actions per minute, these newest models are game-changing. The ultra-fast 14,000 Cuts Per Minute (CPM) linear motor provides a close and clean shave every time, with no power loss or missed whiskers – even when shaving thick beards.

Product Marketing Manager for Personal Care, Panasonic Australia, Tory Rooney said:

“We are thrilled to offer Aussie men the latest in grooming technology through our new electric shavers, the ES-LV6Q & ES-LV9Q. Designed for the best possible shaving experience, our products give men what they deserve – a precise, close and gentle shave for unbeatable results!”

“Our latest models are also Panasonic’s fastest and most contour hugging shavers to date, proving our commitment to continually innovating and helping make grooming simple yet efficient for men.”

ES-LV6Q & ES-LV9Q FEATURES

EXPERIENCE THE CLOSEST SHAVE FOR UNBELIEVABLY SMOOTH SKIN

Thanks to Panasonic’s 5 blade cutting system, you can count on every hair being captured and cut. The comb blade cuts longer whiskers, while the quick-lift foil lifts and cuts lying whiskers at the root, and the finishing foil cuts stubborn whiskers, resulting in the closest shave possible.

In addition, the Japanese stainless steel blades are rust resistant, giving you maximum usage and are angled at the optimum cutting edge of 30° to ensure smooth, irritation-free shaving.

YOU’LL NEVER MISS A SPOT

Follow every contour of your face & neck with Panasonic’s 5-directional shaver head which makes it easier to shave than ever before. Slide, twist and tilt with confidence knowing that the shaver head will constantly be in contact with your skin – even in those pesky areas. Expect an unbeatably smooth and thorough shave every time.

LET TECHNOLOGY DO THE WORK

Panasonic’s shaving sensor technology recognises differences in the density of your beard as you shave; boosting power where your beard growth is heavy, and reducing power where it is thin. This reduces the burden on your skin and minimises skin irritation, while providing optimal shaving results.

GROOM WHENEVER YOU WANT, HOWEVER YOU WANT

Both the ES-LV6Q & ES-LV9Q shavers can be used wet or dry and come with a pop-up trimmer for quick pre-shave cutting or detailed grooming. The models also have an in-built smart travel lock and come complete with a soft carry case.

SHAVERS WITH STYLE

The ES-LV9Q model comes in an elegant charcoal grey and metal finish, complementing any bathroom counter with its simplistically sleek design. The ES-LV6Q has a stunning silver metallic finish.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES AVAILABLE FOR THE ES-LV9Q ONLY

CLEAN AND STORE WITH EASE

The ES-LV9Q comes with a fully automatic, waterproof shaver cleaner and charging station which dries, charges and renews the shaver, keeping the blades sharp for longer.

Both the ES-LV6Q & ES-LV9Q are available now from the Shaver Shop and via selected retailers from August 2019 onwards. Please see pricing below:

Panasonic releases LUMIX camera firmware update for LUMIX S1R, S1, GH5, GH5S, G9, G95, G85 and GX9

Panasonic has announced the availability of firmware that will further enhance the performance of its innovative LUMIX digital single lens mirrorless camera lineup – including the LUMIX S1R and S1 full-frame models; and key cameras in the popular G Series range.

The firmware will be available for download at the LUMIX Global Customer Support website https://av.jpn.support.panasonic.com/support/global/cs/dsc/ at 11:00am AEST on 9 July, 2019.

Scott Mellish, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Imaging, Panasonic, said: “These powerful additions enhance the precision of an already exacting feature set. On launch, the S Series offered class-leading Dual I.S. 2 (Image Stabilisation) at 6 stops for the first time in a full-frame camera.  With the upgrade, it will support an additional half stop for 6.5 stops of image stabilisation, delivering handheld shooting at even slower speeds and ISO values.”

“We’ve also introduced an innovative new function to improve the photographer’s control over AF – AF-ON Near Shift and AF-ON Far Shift. Assignable to a function button, this capability allows the user to confidently guide AF by refocusing on a subject closer or further away than the camera’s current AF position.”

“Without using the touch screen, or taking their hand away from the camera, they can alternate between subjects for precise AF when there are a number of potential targets.  This is a boon for professionals – from videographers capturing events where there are large groups of people; to still photography of birds, where you want to avoid placing the focus on a foreground branch or leaf, and push into the depth of a scene without manual AF adjustment.”
