Panasonic and Marion Grasby expand partnership in 2022 with exciting new home cooking concepts in Marion’s Test Kitchen

Food entrepreneur and Media Publisher takes on a new series of challenges in the kitchen as ambassador across Panasonic’s multi-function home appliance range.

Following the launch of ‘Marion’s Test Kitchen’ last year with prominent Australian cook, Marion Grasby, Panasonic has announced the second year of the partnership, which is sure to whet the appetites of viewers with the addition of a brand-new video series.

The popular ‘Test Kitchen’ will return in 2022 with six new episodes, each featuring tasty recipes created using Marion’s signature cooking methods and trialed with Panasonic’s home appliance range. The menu for the first episode begins with an entrée of Prawn Po-boy sliders, moves onto a main course of Hot Honey Chicken, and ends with some scrumptious Butterscotch Self Saucing Pudding for dessert.

Marion will test various models of Microwave Ovens, Rice Cookers and Bread Makers from Panasonic’s trusted kitchen range, inspiring different ways to approach home cooking. The series will demonstrate handy tips from Marion about how everyday meals can be made easier, so that cooking is as simple and enjoyable as possible.

This year will also introduce a new series, which shows Marion tackling exciting culinary challenges using Panasonic home appliances such as Refrigerators and Convection Microwave Ovens. This four-part series will promote the versatility of these kitchen heroes and encourage viewers to step up their cooking repertoire.

All new episodes will be launched across Marion’s Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube channels. Check out the first episode of the year for ‘Marion’s Test Kitchen’ where Marion creates a three-course meal using using Panasonic’s NN-CD58J Microwave Oven here.

Marion Grasby said, “I’m thrilled to be partnering with Panasonic for a second year of fun, exciting and most importantly, delicious, content. I loved testing out all my cool Panasonic appliances last year in my Marion’s Test Kitchen series. That series allowed us to build an authentic brand partnership with experiments and recipes our audience loved to watch. But I’m also going to be throwing down some challenges this year in an exciting new series that will really push my skills to the limit. Good thing I’ll have some new Panasonic tech to help me out!”

Have you ever wanted to know more about the technology inside your Panasonic appliance and how it can streamline your cooking? Busy cooks will also be able to visit the Panasonic website to learn more, with Marion hosting an engaging 14-part educational series. Charissa Sano, Home Appliance Category & Marketing Communications Manager at Panasonic Australia said: “Marion’s Test Kitchen series really impressed last year and showed Australian consumers the true versatility of just some of our appliances. From her easy to make One Pot Honey Soy Chicken and Rice made in the Panasonic Rice Cooker, to cooking an entire Pork Belly in the 3-in-1 Convection Microwave, the traditional was always turned upside down.”

“Recipes that you would think to make in the oven, or on the stove, were re-imagined in our multi-function kitchen heroes. The exact same delightful flavours were achieved in our appliances, which were created so that all Australians can be chefs in their own homes. We are now thrilled to be collaborating further with Marion on an educational series for all cooking enthusiasts!”
